Knight is a dream come true. The search for a Section B stallion began in March of 2000. Fate made us hold out until the absolutely perfect one came along. Knight is an impeccably-bred stallion with wonderful old breeding up close. The pedigrees printed on Knight's American and Canadian papers list Criban Victor, Berwyn Beauty, Brockwell Berwyn, Solway Master Bronze and Reeves Fairy Lustre. Criban Victor, Knight's great-grandsire, needs no introduction, but this venerable Champion was also known for his kind temperament. Berwyn Beauty, Knight great-granddam, was respectable in the show ring, but her true strength was as a broodmare. Her produce includes the great stallions Coed Coch Berwynfa, *Coed Coch Blaen Lleaud (both in Knight's pedigree as well), *Coed Coch Ballog, Brockwell Berwyn and the Champion-producing mare Brockwell Beauty Queen. Brockwell Berwyn, Knight's grandsire, won many prizes in young stock classes and went on to stand at stud at Twyford, Baylaurel and Cymbeline Studs. Solway Master Bronze was a halter and ridden Champion, but is best known for siring Champion offspring, noted for excellent temperaments. Reeves Fairy Lustre, another of Knight's great-granddams, was the winner of many important Championships, including the 1973 Royal Welsh Show Championship. She went on to produce Champions for the Elphicks Stud.
Knight has fabulous conformation...awesome shoulder, short back, elegant neck, good bone and substance, long neck and small head with huge, soft eyes. He has the breathtaking movement and athleticism I require in all of my ponies. Knight's temperament is simply outstanding. He is very kind, quiet and sweet and LOVES to cuddle. Even when he trumps up, you never feel him on the end of the lead rope.
Knight's foals are born athletes with wonderful movement and excellent temperaments. Though he has not been used a lot for breeding in his life, every offspring I have knowledge of is of high quality. As Knight turned 20 in May, my goal for the next several years is to breed Knight to my best Section A and B mares to ensure he leaves an indelible mark on my herd and the Welsh World. Knight has been bred to Reserve Supreme Champion Madoc Pippi Longstocking and Mar-Jon Schilling for 2009.
Splash came to Ponies Galore! in June of 1999. With his presence and charisma, I just had to have him! He is a flamboyant pony with good bone, ample substance, and excellent Welsh type and conformation. He has breathtaking movement and tremendous jumping ability. Splash has an extremely kind temperament and a very willing attitude. He is always happy and lives his life to the fullest!
Splash made his first public appearance at the 2001 Minnesota Horse Expo. He spent all three days greeting visitors over his stall guard and letting them arrange his forelock into a variety of different hair-dos. Other stallion owners that saw him were amazed that he had the patience to put up with all the attention and never once thought to pin his ears or bite. Pictures of Splash and his fans may be seen in his photo album. Splash has also appeared at the 2003 and 2008 Minnesota Horse Expos. He is always a "hit" with the crowd, especially the kids. When we have visitors at Ponies Galore!, Splash takes a special interest in the kids. He gladly accepts hugs and gives hugs back!
Splash made his show ring debut in 2001. His show record to date is impressive to say the least, with very minimal showing. I am extremely proud of Splash and his accomplishments. Splash began his under saddle career with a talented junior rider. He has proved to be extremely easy to work with and retains his training very well. He is naturally balanced athlete with a great work ethic. After a six year hiatus from training, Destiny started Splash back under saddle two weeks before Horse Expo so he could be ridden during his stallion demo. No one would have ever guessed he was as green as he was, but in true Splash fashion, he rose to the occasion and put on an amazing show.
Splash's foals inhereit their sire's wonderful temperament, outgoing personality and Welsh type. He has produced Section A, B and Half Welsh that are undeniably his, proving his worth as a sire. His 2008 foals have safely arrived and are both black fillies. Destiny's filly "Zoe," out of her APHA mare Domino's Deluxe, is simply stunning. She has fabulous conformation and movement, with LOTS of ponytude to boot! My Section B filly Galore's Easy on the Eyes, aka Kiki, is out of my champion-producing Young's Kwik N Easy. Except for coat color, Kiki is a carbon copy of her eldest half sister Galore's Three Cheers. I have regretted selling Cheers since the day I put her on the trailer bound for Florida, so Kiki is truly a blessing. Kiki will eventually replace her dam in the broodmare band.

Proudly introducing, for the 2010 breeding season....
"Tally" 2008 Section B Welsh colt
Sire: Phantom Bronze Knight Dam: Galore's Fifth Avenue Pedigree Highlights: Criban Victor, Weston Gigli, Solway Master Bronze, Cusop Sheriff, Sarnau Rheolwr, Brockwell Berwyn, Wickenden Osprey, Criban Button B Foaled: April 29, 2008, 4:45 AM Color: grey, foaled brown Height: should mature to 12.2 hands
"Wow!" That was all I could say when I first saw Tally. He is the spitting image of his dam when she was born, plus a TON more substance and bone. Tally has absolutely everything a Section B colt should have in conformation and movement, plus he has an impish personality and loves people and showing off.
Tally is a grandson to my foundation mare Flying Colors Dark of the Moon. He possesses her calm, laid back demeanor, soft, kind eyes, lovely neck and huge hip. Tally has been retained for some future breeding duties as I feel he has a lot to offer my Section B program. It's going to be so exciting watching this handsome boy grow up!
Tally's first public appearance is slated to be at the 2009 Minnesota Horse Expo.
