Reserve Grand Champion
LADY JUNE
"Jewel"
Half Welsh mare H3047
Welara mare 1005181
Sire: Flying Colors Yankee Clipper, Section C Welsh
Dam: Princess Gayla, Arabian
Pedigree Highlights: Parc Dafydd, Menai Ceredig,
Farnley Lustre, Coed Coch Berwynfa, Cusop Sheriff,
Raffles, Raseyn, Rasraff, Abu Zeyd, Raswan, Skowronek
Foaled: June 11, 1990
Color: bay, star and left hind sock
Height: 13.1 3/4 hands
Foal Theme: Jewel's foals have "sea" in their registered names.
Jewel is an absolutely gorgeous mare with fabulous conformation - huge
eyes, a shapely neck, deep and substantial body and good bone. She is a
"10" mover, with wonderful ground covering gaits. She is a well broke mare
that goes English and Western. Jewel is also great on the trails and has
perfect form over fences.
Jewel was a Half Welsh and Welara representative at the 2002 Minnesota
Horse Expo, showing her versatility by being shown Hunt Seat and Western.
She was also a demonstration horse for a Richard Shrake lecture. Mr. Shrake
thought she was a wonderful pony and a great broodmare candidate.
Jewel delivered her first foal, Grand Champion Galore's Sea of Roses, a filly by Supreme Champion Galore's
Splash of Flash, on June 10, 2001. Jewel's second foal arrived on June 25, 2003. Galore's Sweet SeaCret, by
Grand Champion Galore's First Edition, is a larger version of her sister Rosie and sweet and smart as can be!
Jewel foaled an absolutely exquisite bay filly, Galore's PhantaSea, by Phantom Bronze Knight on May 21, 2005.
Fancy will be a top notch all-around show pony and can be seen on our sales page. Jewel delivered filly #4 on May
14, 2006. Galore's Sea Breeze, a full sister to Fancy, is a gorgeous chestnut who is every bit as spectacular as her
three sisters. Breeze, Rosie and Secret have been retained.
Jewel's show career was brief, being shown once in 2001. She was Reserve Grand Champion Half Welsh to our
Galore's First Edition.
Jewel has been retired from the breeding program due to Cushing's Disease. She is doing well and enjoys being a
pasture potato!
GALORE'S SWEET SEACRET
"Secret"
Welara mare
(Unregisterable in the United States as a Half Welsh, even though
she has 50% Welsh blood, because both parents are Half Welsh
and the WPCSA currently won't allow it)
Sire: Galore's First Edition, Half Welsh
Dam: Lady June, Half Welsh
Pedigree Highlights: Cusop Sheriff, Farnley Lustre,
Coed Coch Berwynfa, Parc Dafydd, Menai Ceredig,
Raseyn, Ferzon, Nazeer, Indraff
Foaled: June 25, 2003, 4:30 AM
Color: chestnut; lopsided, heart-shaped star, left hind sock
Height: 14.0 hands
Foal Theme: Secret's foals will be named after things that are sweet!
This cross was too much for me to resist. Although Secret isn't currently able to be
registered with the WPCSA, she will be registered Welara.
Secret has grown into the most gorgeous mare with lots of size, beauty, brains and
performance ability. She has an outstanding topline, a swan-like neck, a tiny head with
big eyes, absolutely straight legs, with ample bone and a deep body. Secret's
movement is truly exceptional. She has her sire's breathtaking, athletic gaits. It is
simply a pleasure to watch her in action...floating wherever she goes.
Secret is very sweet and mellow and enjoys being around people, usually to the point
of being a huge pest! Secret's wonderful temperament and huge heart were invaluable
in weaning her baby sister Galore's PhantaSea. Secret mothered Fancy just as she
would have her own foal and has made the process easier for all of us!
Secret has been retained to replace her sire Grand Champion Galore's First Edition in our breeding program as he
was gelded in August of 2005.

Grand Champion & 2003 WPCSA Regional Reserve Champion
GALORE'S SEA OF ROSES
"Rosie"
Half Welsh mare H5325
Sire: Galore's Splash of Flash, Section A Welsh
Dam: Lady June, Half Welsh
Pedigree Highlights: Clan Pip, Farnley Lustre, Parc Dafydd,
Menai Ceredig, Cusop Sheriff, Bryntirion Rowan, The Rose Prince,
Gharis, Rasraff
Foaled: June 10, 2001, 9:30 PM
Color: chestnut, blaze, tummy spot, right hind sock, "squiggles" on the
insides of hocks
Height: 11.3 1/4 hands
Rosie is THE MOST ADORABLE little girl! She has her sire's outgoing
personality, wonderful temperament, sense of humor, and presence, yet is a
carbon copy of her Reserve Grand Champion dam, Lady June, and has the
same fantastic Hunter movement. Her conformation is simply outstanding -
gorgeous head, tiny ears, huge eyes, elegant neck, excellent topline, straight
legs and deep body.
Rosie's paternal great-grandparents were the great Liseter Carnelian and
Liseter Gladness, each producing many outstanding Champion Welsh and
Hunter ponies on the East Coast.
Rosie is totally unflappable. I am hard-pressed to find things that bother her.
She has been started under saddle and is progressing well at the walk and
trot. Our goal is for her to eventually excel as a lead line pony.
Rosie's show career has been impressive with limited showing, earning many
firsts and a Half Welsh Grand Championship.

GALORE'S SEA BREEZE
"Breeze"
chestnut Half Welsh & Welara filly H-pending
Sire: Phantom Bronze Knight
Dam: Reserve Grand Champion Lady June
Pedigree Highlights: Raseyn, Cusop Sheriff, Rhyd-y-Felin Selwyn,
Brockwell Berwyn, Weston Gigli, Solway Master Bronze, Criban Victor
Foaled: May 14, 2006, 11:10 PM
Height: 13.2 hands
Foal Theme: Undecided.
Breeze is the fourth of four lovely daughters of my premiere Half Welsh
mare Lady June. Breeze is incredibly smart and unflappable, not to
mention a bit of a trouble maker, just like her mother. She loves to play
in the water tank, occasionally putting a foot, or two, in. She always
knows when the fence off and loves to crawl through and visit Splash...
Breeze is a gorgeous girl with wonderful conformation and Welsh type.
Her movement is breathtaking, showing a bit of her Cob heritage.
Breeze will begin training later this summer and will be used in the leasing program as well as my crossbred breeding
program.
Watch for her on the 2010 show string.
