Section A & C Welsh
Supreme & 2002 WPCSA Regional Champion
Section A Welsh mare
Brookside Starry Knight
Dam: Dandardel Misty
Pedigree Highlights: Friars Ranger, Coed Coch
Madog, Farnley Sirius, Coed Coch Serenllys,
Tanybwlch Berwyn
Foaled: February 15, 2000
Color: light bay sabino with roaning, blaze and four stockings
Height: 11.3 hands
Foal Theme: In keeping with Welsh tradition, Pippi's foals'
names begin with the letter P.

Pippi is an outstanding mare. She simply floats when she moves
and has fantastic form over fences. Pippi was purchased on her
pedigree alone, over the Internet. She made the trip up from
Texas in September of 2000. Pippi handled the six-day trip in
stride and arrived totally unaffected. She marched off the van like
she'd done it a thousand times and immediately claimed the farm
as her own. She is truly one of my favorites.

Pippi is a powerhouse in a pretty, petite package. Her trot can take your breath away and she has tremendous
jumping ability. Pippi has lovely conformation - tiny head and ears, awesome shoulder, good topline and
ample bone and substance. She just keeps improving as she's matured.

Pippi has an outstanding show record with limited show ring appearances in 2001, 2002 and 2011. Pippi's
Dandardel Misty, has many Championships to her credit and was a member of one of JD Orear's
favorite draft teams, with team mate
Dandardel Sea Queen. Pippi's sire Brookside Starry Knight has done
very well in the halter ring in Canada and the US, as have his sire,
*Friars Sweet William (now deceased),
and his dam,
*Friars Seren Goch.

Pippi had her first foal in 2006 by Supreme Champion Galore's Splash of Flash. Galore's Panache aka
"Spike" is line bred
Farnley Sea Urchin and resembles him in color, markings and conformation. Pippi's 2009
Galore's Bronze Prince, is a Section B gelding by Phantom Bronze Knight. Her 2010 filly, also by
Galore's Picture Perfect, has been retained for my breeding program. All Pippi babies are
ultra-adorable, sweet and will blow you away with their movement....just like their dam.

Pippi will be bred back to
Phantom Bronze Knight for 2013.

MANY THANKS to Mary Alice Williams of Madoc Welsh Ponies and Cobs, Texas, for allowing me to
purchase my darling Pippi!
Reserve Junior Champion
Section A Welsh mare
*Castellau Cardinal
Dam: Shallow Creek Rosemerry
Pedigree Highlights: Clan Pip, Twyford Santa, Rowfant Peanut,
Severn West Wind, Wye Windjammer, Farnley Sundial
Foaled: April 4, 2005
Height: 10.3 hands
Owners: Katherine Tschida & Paige Morton

We are extremely pleased to have Dulcie in the Ponies Galore!
herd. She brings with her wonderful, old bloodlines, including those
of the immortal
Severn West Wind, through his outstanding
Severn Merrymaker. In addition to her lovely pedigree,
Dulcie also brings ample substance, wonderful movement, laid back
temperament and an extreme over abundance of pony character!
She gets along with every other pony in the herd and I have yet to
find anyone who doesn't think she's adorable.

Dulcie handled her 30-hour trip to Minnesota in stride and immediately claimed us all as her own, but has
always had my mom totally wrapped around her tiny hooves! Every day my mom asks, "How's Dulcie?" In
August of 2008, I finally gave Dulcie to her for her birthday. It was like hearing a kid at Christmas, literally
squealling with delight. Of course, I still get to pay the bills:)

"Dulcifer" was a last minute addition to the show string for the Centennial Welsh show. It was her first show
ring appearance and the first time away from her sister
Shady Grove's Mandolin. She had a ton of presence
and "ponytude" and it was a blast to show her! Her placings speak highly her, as she earned a Reserve Junior

Speaking of her 'ponytude,' if she feels she isn't receiving enough attention, she will wiggle her way in and
gently step on your foot to get your attention...and the turns around so you can scratch her butt...

Due to her petite stature, Dulcie is being trained to become a rock-solid lead line pony for all the tiny visitors
to Ponies Galore! Dulcie is basically unflappable and recently made her performance debut at the 2010 Heart
of Fall Welsh Show in Adult Lead Line. She will also be trained to drive so her owner can enjoy her as well.

Many thanks to Bonnie Bidwell, Shady Grove Welsh, for entrusting Dulcie to us!

Foaled: June 23, 1992

Prairie came to me in June of 2011 after nearly becoming a
ward of Minnesota Hooved Animal Rescue. Donna Ley of
SDL Welsh Ponies was fostering Prairie after she was surrendered. Knowing
I had Prairie's dam and several siblings, Donna contacted me and asked if I'd
be interested in providing Prairie with a 'forever home' and making the
necessary decisions for her when the time came.

I had first met Prairie in 1997 when I purchased
Galore's Blazing Star and
her nephews,
Galore's Goin' Solo and Galore's Des Colores. I was informed
by their breeder that Prairie was being sold as 'broodmare only' due to a
shoulder injury she received when she was 3.

Prairie had been ridden and bred in subsequent years and eventually ended up
at Donna's with a bridle that had a Tom Thumb bit on it that was UPSIDE

In addition to her shoulder injury, Prairie also has arthritis in various places.
With the aid of a joint supplement and a daily dose of Bute, this sweet, funny
girl lives happily in my pasture with her 27 year old dam,
Flying Colors Dark of the Moon, full brother in
Flying Colors Rainbow Trail and half siblings Galore's First Edition, Galore's Second To None and
Galore's Fifth Avenue, plus several nieces and nephews.
